League of Women Voters Candidate Forum

Thank you so much to the League of Women Voters of Clallam County for hosting a candidate forum on October 8th. I truly believe in the importance of being an informed voter and having the opportunity to see the similarities and differences between candidates firsthand. Through this forum and others you can see my full statements and answers to questions, asked by other voters in Port Angeles. I hope you’ll see my commitment and love of Port Angeles, as well as my policy positions.

Below is a link to the LWV forum, which they have so kindly recorded and uploaded in its entirety to Youtube.

Check Out the Coverage of the PABA Candidate Forum

Read or listen to the PABA Candidate Forum I participated in on September 17th, where we discussed key issues in Port Angeles, like affordable housing &. parking downtown. There were many great questions, regarding budget prioritization, panhandling, and ways to address opioid addiction. I’m excited to share with you my answers to these important questions through the coverage of local news stations. If you have more questions about my answers or would like to reach out regarding another issue, please feel free to contact me at any time! I encourage you to attend candidate forums when you can, as you will be able to hear us answer each question and hear our complete answers.

Navarra Believes in Taking Action

One of the reasons I’m running for City Council is to increase action on pressing issues facing our City.

Tonight our Council was deadlocked twice regarding Councilmember French’s proposal to remove a law that effectively makes it harder for small businesses to expand and for developers to build new housing. It is a failure of our council that they couldn’t even vote yes to put this issue on the agenda when there is a housing crisis and when buildings sit empty downtown.

If elected I will strive to not just talk, but take action as a City Councilmember and push our Council to enact policy changes regarding the pressing issues that effect our City.
